"Handsome Brute" - Hand Stitched, Chestnut & Havana
Please meet "Handsome Brute".
This is a FULLY hand stitched version of “Brute”, which was my first guitar strap design.
Due to the lenght of the main body, this design takes me the longest time to hand stitch out of all of my designs available at the moment. But the end result is well worth it!
Brute is down to earth, no nonsense fella who's here to do the job and do it well.
He's slightly oversized at 2" wide to help you distribute that LP weight as you're not 22 anymore and the bloody thing is quite heavy.
Being a Brute doesn't mean that you have to be a slob. Every edge, every hole is bevelled and polished. Your neck will appreciate not being chuffed and your favourite shirt won't rip.
Brute will not apologise for bashing your guitar with his oversized buckle, it's called "aging".
The mentioned buckle as well as the whole length of the strap is hand stitched using a traditional saddle stitch method.
2" wide, tapered to 1.5" on both ends. Buckle is 1.5"
Strap is made out of beautiful, tough, top grain vegetable tanned leather that carries natural marks with pride. Inside is smooth and a pleasure to wear on your shoulder. UK sourced leather with a distressed look to it. It will patina like no other.
Length wise, it's 50.5" to 54.5" with 1" adjustment in between.
