"Katana" - Hand made, hand stitched guitar strap Black/Red Chestnut & Rust

A truly original design that came to life as a collaboration with a client of mine, who combined elements of my other designs into one.
As used by Nathan Connolly from Snow Patrol.
A design that, according to a friend of mine, resembles a Katana sword, especially when you lay it flat. I could not un-see it after his feedback, and the name stuck. Pretty cool name at that!
This is a one-of-a-kind item that will compliment your guitar like no other and age beautifully with it.
100% hand made using best materials available. Hand stitched using traditional saddle stitch method. Every edge and hole are bevelled and burnished for comfort and aesthetics reasons. Craftsmanship backed by over a decade of experience in leather working, a lifetime warranty and real life experience working with guitar players on stages as their guitar technician.
Adjustment between 47-51inch length wise. 2.5" wide at a widest point, tapering towards both ends. As a result, you have wide strap support around the shoulder with a slim strap looks towards the front and back. Pretty slick!
Leather: Two tone, Black & Red Chestnut.
Thread: Rust, Italian made
Solid Brass buckle, UK sourced.
Different leather/thread combinations as well as made to measure lengths can be made to order at NO ADDITIONAL COST. Perks of being a custom shop!

Strap is made out of beautiful Lyveden distressed leather sourced in UK from @metropolitanleather.est1919
Hand stitched with highest quality thread, sourced from lovely @stonesfieldleather
Solid brass buckle, again from @abbeyenglandltd
Every edge and every hole is bevelled and burnished with @tokonole for a silky smooth feel.
These are 100% handmade by me in my studio, located in Hampshire, UK.
I'm a touring guitar technician by night, leather smith by day and these are the result of years of listening to artists feedback on their experiences with their current guitar straps, backed by my own creative flair and over a decade of experience in leather working.
Other leather and thread colour combinations can be made to order.
Due to the time it takes to make one of these, they will be a rare stock item, but will show up every now and then, so make sure to check my store from time to time.
